A working visit to the Mutlu plant

During the visit the delegation saw the production facilities and the lines that build batteries for passenger and commercial vehicles, and discussed the outlook for further cooperation between Mutlu and Voltman on the Kazakhstan market.

"Mutlu Akü is a brand with 70 years of history that combines Turkish quality with European production standards. We value our cooperation with Voltman and see great growth potential in Kazakhstan. Our goal is to strengthen the position of the Mutlu brand in Central Asia together," said Eser Berber, export manager at Mutlu Akü.

Particular attention was paid to quality control, logistics and to the product range adapted to the climate of Central Asia. The plant management noted the high potential of the Kazakhstan market and its readiness to support partners in developing sales and technical service networks.

Voltman executive director Anuar Seitkazy underlined the strategic importance of the trip: "Visiting the plant let us see the entire production process, from lead smelting to packing the finished batteries. That gives us confidence in the quality of the product we offer our customers. We agreed on a number of initiatives aimed at growing Mutlu sales in Kazakhstan and raising brand awareness."

The visit strengthened the business relationship and set out new directions for joint work in 2026.

Background:

Mutlu began as an import and export business in 1945 and started producing batteries in 1955. Today the plant has a capacity of 6 million batteries a year. The range covers starter batteries for passenger cars and commercial vehicles as well as traction and stationary solutions. Technologies include EFB, AGM, GEL and VRLA batteries, solutions for start-stop vehicles and industrial batteries. The plant is certified to international standards and is a homologated supplier to all vehicle assembly plants in Turkey, including Ford, Toyota and Hyundai.
